I was shocked at how efficient and convenient this experience was. My doctor was nice; warm and welcoming. As promised, my results were sent over to the DMV before the call ended. Mind you, this was around 8:30pm. I was able to immediately renew my license. I definitely, highly recommend.

Gio: Kieran in Dix Hills has advice for me. What's going on, Kieran?
Kieran: Hey, good morning guys. Hey, Gio… so yesterday you were talking about you had to go to the DMV to take an eye test.
Gio: Yeah, cause they're gonna suspend my license apparently. Yes.
Kieran: Yeah, I had the same issue. So yesterday I went online to renew my license. I'm going through to put my stuff in and it says I need an eye test. So I'm like "crap." So I Googled a little bit more and you can take the test right online. If you Google "new york license eye test" you get a...
Gio: And you give somebody your social security number and then send them $600?
Kieran: No, no, it's $49 bucks and an ophthalmologist comes right onto your screen, shows you 3 screens, you read the letters and he says, "OK, you pass." They send you an email, he tells you he already sent the link to the DMV. You click the link in the email and you go to put your stuff in – your info to renew your license – and the eye test part doesn't even come up and it's done in like 5 minutes.
Gio: Ok. I will try it. New York license eye test. Google that. And I get a...
Boomer: While we still have 97 year olds driving.
Gio: Right... virtual ophthalmologist!
Kieran: I had to do the same thing. I had to do the same thing. It was ridiculous.
Gio: OK, all right. Now, I appreciate that, Kieran. I will give that a shot because there's nothing worse. Even though the DMV's a little bit better now that you make appointments, it's a little bit better. They kind of figured that out.
Boomer: Since the pandemic it's been much better.
Gio: Yeah, and I go all the way out to Riverhead because there's not as many people out there going to the DMV as there are in like Medford and some of these other places around me. But if I don't have to go in there, I will not go in there just like everybody else in America. I mean, it is the worst. It is hell – straight living hell.
Boomer: I kind of feel bad about the people who work there.
Gio: Do you?
Boomer: I do because I don't think it's necessarily their fault. I think it's pretty much, they're understaffed and there's so many things that go on through the DMV. Like, it's just, it's never ending. Could you imagine working there, like, for 25 years and going there the same day, the same day.
Gio: No, no, I'd be... but that's everybody's job.
Boomer: I know, but I mean, like that particular job and you're always dealing with somebody that doesn't have the right paperwork or something. "You don't have the right paperwork!" And then they get pissed off and then you gotta fight with them.
Gio: Yeah, it's very stressful.
Boomer: Yes.
Gio: It is the worst. All right, thanks Jerry. It's Boomer and Gio coming to you live with Built Ford Tough Studio...
